Ryan Flournoy and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year contract extension that would keep the wide receiver with the team through the 2027 season, the Dallas Cowboys reported ahead of their regular-season opener against the New York Giants.
The deal is reported to be worth $6 million. The agreement gives Flournoy another season with Dallas beyond the current contract rather than leaving his status to be addressed as a restricted free agent in 2027.
Flournoy entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection by the Cowboys in 2024. During the team’s roster reductions in 2025, Dallas placed him on waivers. He cleared waivers and later returned to the organization through its practice squad on a new contract.
That contract left Dallas with three years of control and the possibility of using a restricted free-agent tender for a fourth season. The extension instead provides Flournoy with an additional year while giving the Cowboys more time to determine whether to pursue a longer-term agreement. Further contract details were not provided.
