Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said wide receiver Nico Collins and guard Ed Ingram could return for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. Both players have missed the past two games, and Ryans said the team is optimistic about having them available Sunday.
“We're hopeful to get both guys back this week,” Ryans said.
Collins has been a central part of the Texans' passing game. The three-time 1,000-yard receiver produced seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in one game against the Buffalo Bills, while Houston has had less success getting the ball to outside receivers during his absence.
Xavier Hutchinson has led Houston in targets over the last two games, recording nine receptions for 120 yards. Dalton Schultz was the only other player identified in the source as having found success among the team's outside passing options.
