Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway has been ruled out of Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech because of an ankle injury. Nate Bennett will start for the second consecutive game.
Lagway, who transferred from Florida, sustained the injury during Baylor's season-opening loss to Auburn. He also missed last week's game against Prairie View A&M after initially being listed as doubtful for the Louisiana Tech matchup.
Bennett passed for 314 yards and contributed to four touchdowns against Prairie View, while throwing two interceptions. Louisiana Tech will also be without its starting quarterback, Blake Baker, who is sidelined by a hand injury. Trey Kukuk is set to start for the Bulldogs.
