DJ Lagway is set to make his debut as the starting quarterback for Baylor as they face Auburn in a neutral-site game in Atlanta during Week 1 of the college football season.

Bryson Washington contributed significantly on the ground with 788 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns, while Josh Cameron led the receiving corps with 872 yards and 9 touchdowns on 69 receptions.
Auburn's Jackson Arnold passed for 1,309 yards, recording 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions with a completion percentage of 63.3%. Jeremiah Cobb was a key player in rushing, accumulating 969 yards and 5 touchdowns, and Cam Coleman led the receiving group with 708 yards and 5 touchdowns on 56 catches.
