In Dallas, Reunion Tower is hosting a series of activities on its GeO-Deck, including a Lotería game, a pop-up with Hooligan Kitchen Collective, and a Mexico Independence Day celebration featuring Las Estrellas de Tejas Folklórico Dancers. A special light show will also mark the Independence Day observance.
These activities are included with general admission, which costs between $10 and $40 depending on age, while children three and under enter for free. The tower is located at 300 Reunion Blvd. E.
Galleria Dallas is presenting an exhibition of work by Texas artist Brenda Melgoza Ciardiello, whose pieces utilize wild clay, minerals, and plants in sculptures and photo montages. Free performances by local Hispanic and Latino dance and music groups will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 and 4 p.m. The exhibition runs from September 8 through early November on Level 1 near The Westin.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will host an all-day celebration on September 12, featuring a Quinceañera Fashion Show for girls ages 15 and 16, a vendor market, and live entertainment. The event also includes a mocktail class. Admission is $25.95 for adults and $21.95 for children ages 2 to 12, with free entry for those under 2.
