The Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) Fort Worth chapter honored six local members for their contributions to the profession and community during its 2026 Summer Members Meeting. The ceremony took place on July 16 at the Fort Worth City Club.
Kim Crawford, a partner at SFC LLP, received the CPA of the Year award. Rachel Chinukwe, tax director for state and local tax at BDO, was named Young CPA of the Year. Jeff Eaton of Spillar, Mitcham, Eaton & Bicknell LLP earned the Legendary Legacy Member Award.
Peter Olinto, global lead instructor at UWorld, was given the Meritorious Service Award. Allison Lansdowne, vice president of commercial lending at Frost, received the Special Recognition Award. Jacob Alvarado, a UWorld campus ambassador and aspiring CPA, was honored with the President’s Award for Innovation in Engagement.
Kim Knox-Lewis, the 2025-26 TXCPA Fort Worth chapter president, stated that the awards highlight individuals who have demonstrated leadership and service within the organization. She expressed pride in recognizing their accomplishments and thanked them for their support of the chapter and the broader community.
The chapter also acknowledged five members who earned statewide honors at the TXCPA Summer Meeting in San Antonio. Ileana Esparza, Justyce Hill, and Lara Yates were named TXCPA Rising Stars. Rachel Glasser received the TXCPA Impact Award, and Lindsey Kennimer was selected as the TXCPA Young CPA of the Year.
