Hawaiian Falls in Roanoke will host a Dallas Stars hockey-themed event on July 31. The park is encouraging guests to wear hockey gear as they prepare for the 2026-27 NHL season. Victor E. On August 2, What's on Tap in Keller will hold a Plant Bingo from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event offers a variation on the traditional game where winners receive healthy plants and other plant-based prizes. The Keller Pointe will extend its hours for family swimming on August 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The outdoor pool and amenities, which include two water slides, a lazy river, a splash pad and a children's play zone, will be open to both members and nonmembers. Admission is free for members and $15 for nonmembers, with the fee covering a family of four. The location is 405 Rufe Snow Drive.
Salt and Light Collective in Keller will offer a two-day sewing camp for children ages 8 and older on August 10 and 11. The sessions run from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and cover threading machines, adjusting settings and stitching straight lines.
