H-E-B has bought more than 20 acres for a new store in southwest Fort Worth, the company announced October 2.

The site occupies the northeast corner where Oakmont Boulevard meets Chisholm Trail Parkway. It is part of Overland, Cassco’s 250-acre development within the Edwards Ranch community.

The company plans to start construction in early 2027 and expects the store to open in late 2028. Those are projected dates, rather than an announced opening day.

H-E-B says planning is continuing and it will release more details as the project develops.
