Fort Worth Botanic Garden plans to give its members early access to the Baker Martin Family Garden beginning Nov. 15. The general public is scheduled to gain access in March 2027, according to the garden's website.
The two-acre addition is designed for outdoor play and nature activities. Its planned features include a shallow creek, a pond, open lawns and a Discovery Center. The project page says visitors will not pay a separate surcharge to enter the family garden.
The preview comes during the Fort Worth Garden Club's centennial year. The club was established in 1926 and is listed among the family garden's supporters.
The Botanic Garden is at 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd. in Fort Worth, Texas, with its main entrance off University Drive.
Visitors can find membership options and updates on the member preview and public opening through the Botanic Garden's website.
