Fort Worth-area high school football Week 3 schedule released

The Week 3 slate for Fort Worth-area high school football includes non-district matchups and SPC Class 3A action set for Sept. 10-11.

High school football teams in the Fort Worth region and surrounding districts have their Week 3 schedules set for games on Thursday, Sept. 10, and Friday, Sept. 11.

Thursday night features a slate of non-district contests starting at 7 p.m. Arlington Lamar travels to Justin Northwest for a matchup at Northwest ISD Stadium. Granbury faces Irving at Ellis Stadium, while Weatherworth takes on FW Paschal at Farrington Field.

Other Thursday evening games include McKinney Boyd visiting Keller, Azle playing Irving MacArthur at Ellis Stadium, and Irving Nimitz hosting South Garland at Johnson Stadium. Plano meets Mansfield at Newsom Stadium, and Waxahachie plays Denton Guyer at the Collins Complex.

Additional Thursday matchups feature FW Chisholm Trail against Arlington Seguin at Glaspie Stadium, Saginaw visiting Garland Naaman Forest at Williams Stadium, and Dallas Adams playing FW South Hills at Clark Stadium. Venus takes on FW Trimble Tech at Scarborough-Handley Field, while Frisco Heritage hosts Carrollton Turner at Standridge Stadium.

Ennis plays Burleson Centennial at Burleson ISD Stadium, and Dallas Episcopal visits Dallas St. Mark's. FW Southwest Christian goes to FW Country Day, with FW Southwest playing Dallas Sunset at Kincaide Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Keller Harvest Christian visits Decatur Victory Christian at the same time.

Friday night action begins with an SPC Class 3A game as Arlington Oakridge travels to Austin St. Andrew's at 7 p.m. The non-district slate includes Aledo visiting Euless Trinity at Pennington Field, and Red Oak playing Arlington at Maverick Stadium.

Haltom faces Arlington Bowie at Choctaw Stadium, while Arlington Sam Houston hosts Cleburne at Yellow Jacket Stadium. Crowley visits Arlington Martin, and FW Boswell goes to Flower Mound. Frisco Rock Hill plays Haslet Eaton at Northwest ISD Stadium.

Keller Central hosts Carrollton Creekview at Standridge Stadium, and Keller Timber Creek visits Coppell. Trophy Club Byron Nelson plays Rockwall-Heath at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium, with Allen hosting Southlake Carroll at Dragon Stadium.

Hurst L.D. Bell faces Sachse at Johnson Stadium, and Granbury plays Irving again at Ellis Stadium. Plano East hosts South Grand Prairie at the Gopher-Warrior Bowl, while Mansfield Lake Ridge visits Dallas Lake Highlands.

Houston Summer Creek plays North Crowley at Crowley ISD Stadium, Denton hosts North Garland at Williams Stadium, and Lewisville takes on Denton Ryan at the Collins Complex. Grapevine visits Keller Fossil Ridge at Keller ISD Stadium, with Sherman going to Argyle Liberty Christian.

FW Arlington Heights plays Alvarado at Head Stadium, FW Brewer faces NRH Richland at Birdville FA/AC, and FW North Side hosts FW Western Hills at Farrington Field. FW Polytechnic plays FW Diamond Hill-Jarvis at Scarborough-Handley Field.

FW Wyatt visits Frisco Liberty at Kuykendall Stadium, Carrollton Smith goes to Princeton, and Tyler hosts Highland Park. NRH Birdville plays Burleson, while Frisco Lone Star visits Cedar Hill.

Lancaster hosts North Forney at City Bank Stadium, Colleyville Heritage plays Mansfield Legacy at Newsom Stadium, and Mansfield Summit faces Midlothian Heritage at Midlothian ISD Stadium. North Las Vegas (NV) Somerset Academy-Losee visits Argyle.

FW Eagle Mountain goes to Joshua, Dallas White visits The Colony, and Frisco Centennial heads to Nevada Community. Corsicana plays Hallsville at Bobcat Stadium, with Everman visiting Kennedale.

Mansfield Timberview goes to Richardson, FW Nolan Catholic hosts Fort Worth Christian, and Aubrey visits Sanger. Decatur plays Wichita Falls Memorial at Memorial Stadium, Glen Rose goes to Godley, and Irving Ranchview faces Burkburnett at Bulldog Stadium.

Krum visits Lake Dallas, Benbrook plays River Oaks Castleberry, and Springtown hosts Brownwood at Wood Stadium. FW Carter-Riverside goes to Lake Worth, FW Dunbar visits Kaufman, and Dallas Madison plays FW Eastern Hills at Clark Stadium.

Bridgeport faces Whitesboro at Bearcat Stadium, Graham goes to Paradise, and Iowa Park visits Holliday.
