First Bank Texas names Michael Ramirez Fort Worth market president

First Bank Texas has appointed Michael Ramirez as its Fort Worth market president, according to a bank announcement published Oct. 1 by the Fort Worth Business Press.

Ramirez brings more than 20 years of banking experience, the bank said, including commercial real-estate lending and relationship and portfolio management. His new role focuses on client relationships and banking services in the Fort Worth market.

The announcement also highlights his local civic work. The bank said Ramirez has served on the Fort Worth Housing Solutions Board of Commissioners since 2012 and belongs to the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council.

Chief Lending Officer Mark Drennan welcomed the appointment in the release. The announcement does not list a separate effective date.
