Motorcyclist dies in single-vehicle crash on Loop 820

A rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle struck a wall on Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth.

A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle accident on Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth, according to police. Officers arrived at the scene near the 2500 block of the highway, close to the eastbound North Freeway Express northbound exit, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday.

The Fort Worth Police Department stated that only one motorcycle was involved in the incident. An initial investigation indicated that the rider missed a turn and subsequently collided with a wall. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed that the investigation into the crash is ongoing. The identity of the deceased has not been released. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the individual after notifying next of kin.
