Police reported that a male individual was shot three times in a mixed-use area of east Fort Worth where commercial properties are located alongside residential homes. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. in the 2300 block of Miller Avenue. Authorities have not disclosed whether the victim is an adult or a minor.

Officer Tracy Carter, a spokesperson for the Fort Worth police department, stated that the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. By midday, Carter indicated that the patient was in stable condition.

Investigators are currently searching for the person responsible for the shooting. Carter noted that the vehicle used by the assailant was observed on the south side of the city.
