Saginaw police have confirmed that three individuals were arrested following two separate incidents that occurred in June. Saginaw is located approximately 7 miles north of Fort Worth.
The first case began on June 24 when a woman reported her vehicle stolen at 8 a.m. Surveillance footage showed three masked individuals entering the car and driving away. Later that night, at 2 a.m., a police officer located the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver fled, prompting a chase that ended when the car became disabled. The three occupants exited the vehicle and ran on foot.
A second officer pursued one suspect who tried to jump a fence and took him into custody. A third officer used a Taser to apprehend another suspect. Authorities are still looking for the third man. During the investigation, officers recovered the stolen car and discovered two firearms inside, one of which had an automatic switch installed.
The second incident took place on June 27. A suspect allegedly pulled a knife and threatened a lawn care crew before fleeing into a nearby wooded area when police arrived around 11 a.m. The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from a K-9 unit.
