Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.8021 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 10, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8209 yesterday. That is down from $3.9481 a week ago and lower than $3.8615 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8359, while the national average is $4.3669. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 6 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7814, drivers are paying about 102 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $5.6376 per gallon, AAA reported.
