The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.9282, while the national average is $4.4798. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 13 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.6595, drivers are paying about 121 cents more per gallon.
