Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.8763 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 11, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.8615 yesterday. That is up from $3.6615 a week ago but higher than $3.5420 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8468, while the national average is $4.2950. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 33 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8660, drivers are paying about 101 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $5.8021 per gallon, AAA reported.
