FC Dallas beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium, getting a 63rd-minute goal from Kaick and a seven-save shutout from goalkeeper Daniel.
The goal started with a corner. Osaze Urhoghide headed the ball toward the center of the box, and Kaick met it with a right-footed volley into the top left corner.
Seattle finished with 57 percent of possession and outshot Dallas 16-15, with seven shots on target to Dallas' three. Seattle goalkeeper Andrew Thomas made two saves.
The loss snapped Seattle's four-match winning streak and nine-match unbeaten run, according to the Associated Press. Daniel's clean sheet was his third in six starts with Dallas, the AP reported.
