The Dallas Cowboys are set to commence their 2026 training camp in Oxnard, California, with the team reporting on July 27 and fan-accessible practices starting on July 29. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer, in his second season, will hold a press conference on July 29 alongside Jerry Jones, the team's owner, and Stephen Jones, the executive vice president.

The camp will kick off with the annual Back Together Saturday event on August 1, and practices will be free for public attendance until August 18. A primary focus for the Cowboys will be their defense, which struggled in 2025, allowing the highest points per game in the league at 30.

Under new defensive coordinator Christian Parker, the team is implementing a 3-4 scheme and may feature up to seven new starters on defense.

In contrast, the offense remains mostly unchanged, having averaged 27.7 points per game last season, providing Schottenheimer with a stable group as the revamped defense works to improve. This marks the 20th consecutive year that the Cowboys have held their training camp in Oxnard.
