Fort Worth’s Community Action Partners program plans to open its next online application window at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2.

The city lists openings every Friday in October: Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Each window closes when application capacity is reached.

Eligible Tarrant County residents may seek help with electric, gas or propane bills. Applying does not guarantee assistance; the program must review eligibility.

The city currently lists emergency rental assistance and water-bill assistance as unavailable. Separate veteran programs have different benefits and requirements.

Residents can find the current application link and required-document information on the city’s Community Action Partners page. General program information is available at 817-392-2276. The city warns that high demand may mean longer telephone wait times and directs residents to its website for current application information.
